The Department of Colorado is proud of its contributions to the Marine Corps League and its affiliated organizations. National honors earned by many of our members.
Department of Colorado Commandant's Message:
Hello and Welcome to our site,
I would like to
thank you for stopping by and visiting the Department of Colorado's web page.
I would also like to urge all veteran and former Marines to come and see what
our outstanding organization is all about. The Marine Corps League is open
to all Marines, Retiring Marines and Marine Corps Reservists (active or non
active). We also welcome any Navy Corpsmen that served with the Fleet Marine
Force. The Department of Colorado has 13 Detachments throughout this great
state and I invite you to visit the closest one to you. Any of the
Detachments within the Department of Colorado will welcome you and if needed
will offer any assistance they can. I would like you to check the
Detachment Locater to find the one nearest you.
The Marine Corps League also has Associate memberships
available for those that are otherwise ineligible for a regular membership.
They stand beside the regular membership in activities and programs that the
Marine Corps League is involved in.
There are also
Auxiliary Units. With in the Department of Colorado. They work
together with the Detachments in the area. The Auxiliary Unit does several
activities and programs assisting Marines, their families and more.
Their membership is made up of Wives, Widows, Mothers, Grandmothers,
Sisters, Daughters, Granddaughters, Stepmothers, Stepdaughters, Daughters-In-Law
of Marines and veteran Marines and Wives of FMF Navy Corpsmen.
We like to welcome you to come and join us. If I could

Getting Involved
- We currently have 14 chartered Marine Corps League
Detachments located
throughout the State of Colorado. Our earliest detachments were chartered in
1971 and most continue strong today. Check our detachment locator to find a
detachment within reasonable driving distance of your home. Several have
their own Auxiliary Units, which also gives distaff members of your family a
wonderful opportunity to meet new friends and take part in wonderful
programs. Former Marines interested in forming a new detachment in areas
currently not served in Colorado are urged to contact us for assistance.
